Create Contact Types

WebLink's Connect is a Customer Relationship Management features allow you to record contact history with the people and organizations within your membership. By creating Contact Types that are specific to the many types of interaction you have, reporting and analysis of your Contact History can be much easier. Suggested Contact Types include many of the following:

  • Onsite Visit
  • Retention
  • Prospecting
  • Complaint
  • Business Advice
  • Phone Call
  • Collections Call
  • Event Invitation

Follow these steps to configure your Contact Types

  1. Go to Admin > Manage Codes > Contact Codes > Contact Type. The Contact Type Codes window will open.
  2. Click the New button. The Selected Code text fields will empty.
  3. Enter the Name and Description of your new Contact Type.
  4. Click Save. Your new Contact Type will appear in the Codes Data Grid
