Overview of the CapWiz/CQ Roll Call Integration with WebLink Connect

Below are facts about the integration between WebLink and CapWiz/CQ Roll Call, a grassroots advocacy platform that helps manage your political calls-to-action and can facilitate your audience sending letters of opinion that you create to their own respective legislators. This integration is an add-on service and requires an active account from CapWiz/CQ Roll Call. Click here for more information about CapWiz/CQ Roll Call. (Note, this system is referred to as CapWiz/CQ Roll Call because the product has changed names since the inception of this integration. The legacy CapWiz product, as well as the new CQRC product, are both available to integrate).

What information is passed from WebLink Connect to CapWiz/CQ Roll Call?

When activated, you can manually trigger a syncing of your Profile Data to CapWiz/CQ Roll Call so that it knows the names and addresses of all your constituents. Once they are uploaded, you also manage their subscription status. This enables your constituents to be recognized in CapWiz/CQ Roll Call and have assigned legislators connected to their profiles.

What data is passed from CapWiz/CQ Roll Call to WebLink Connect?

Once Profiles are synced, you can retrieve the following information from CapWiz/CQ Roll Call:

  • CapWiz/CQRC ID
  • Subscription Status
  • Federal District
  • Federal District Upper
  • Federal District Upper 2
  • State District Upper
  • State District Lower
  • State District Lower 2
  • State District Lower 3
  • Date of last Update
  • State and Federal Senate Representatives
  • State and Federal House Representatives
  • Party, Rank and Term information about Representatives
  • CapWiz Actions and Messages the Profile has received and / or taken advantage of

This history will live in both the CapWiz / CQ Roll Call area and on a tab on the Profile Record. NOTE: this data will only be synced for profiles with a unique email address in WebLink for CQ Roll Call users. CQRC does not allow multiple profiles with the same email address, and it does not sync profiles that do not have an email address.

How do I enable this integration?

Activating the integration between WebLink Connect and CapWiz/CQ Roll Call requires purchasing the functionality from WebLink and purchasing a license from CapWiz/CQ Roll Call. Both requirements may incur an additional cost from WebLink (depending on your WebLink Connect package) and from CapWiz/CQ Roll Call. You should contact CapWiz/CQ Roll Call directly to inquire about purchasing a license.
