How to Add, Edit, or Remove Sponsors (CMS Website)

Note that this article applies only to Atlas clients who have purchased a website with the new CMS Website for content management. Click here to learn more.

If you have a header or footer on your website that dynamically scrolls images (usually sponsor logos), you'll need to edit those slightly differently than you edit other content. The updates are completed directly within the Atlas database, rather than the CMS Select tool.

Editing an Existing Sponsor

1. Go to Communication > Web Content Management > Edit/View Web Content or click the Edit Existing Web Content link from the Web Content Quick Actions menu. From the Content Type drop down menu, choose Sponsor.  Click Preview.

2. The results will appear in the bottom section of the screen. Click the "+" by Sponsor to expand the selection. You will see your current sponsors display. Check the box by the sponsor you wish to Edit. Click View Selected Content Records.

3. Your Content Record will open in a new tab. Click the HTML Content tab, then click the blue HTML Editor link on the right hand side of the screen. The HTML editor will open. If you need to change the image, delete the current image held in the HTML Editor.

NOTE: before uploading the image, make sure that you have formatted and sized it appropriately.  You can see what dimensions the other logos on your site use by right-clicking on them and choosing "View Image Info" (or "Properties," depending on your browser).

Once you have sized your image appropriately, click the Image Manager tool, and click Upload. Click Select to browse for the new sponsor image on your computer. Once you have located it, highlight it, and then click Open, and then click Upload. Select the new image from within the Image Manager, then Accept the HTML. Save the Web Content Record. Once saved, your new sponsor should appear within your scroller.

Deleting a Sponsor

Click the Delete button at the top, and click Yes to confirm that you would like to delete the web content record. Please keep in mind that there is not a way to undo the delete action once completed.

Adding a New Sponsor

1. Click Create New Web Content from the Web Content Quick Actions menu.

2. Insert a Content Title (recommend Sponsor <#> - <Business Name>, e.g. Sponsor 1 - Walmart), set Content Type to Sponsors

3. Click on HTML Content and right-click in the box to select Internal HTML Editor or click on blue text "HTML Editor"

4. Click on the Image Manager (icon looks like a landscape without the plus sign)

5. Click Upload to upload the new image, hit Select to open your local drive to find the image, select your image, and hit Open and then Upload. Once uploaded, find the image in the Image Manager and click the Insert button after uploading the image (may need to expand the box as it can be hidden on the bottom right).

NOTE: before uploading the image, make sure that you have formatted and sized it appropriately.  You can see what dimensions the other logos on your site use by right-clicking on them and choosing "View Image Info" (or "Properties," depending on your browser).

6. Once image is inserted, click on the image and then click on the Insert Link icon. Add the url and set to New Window

7. Click Accept HTML

8. Click Save button at bottom of screen.
