Event Analysis - Exporting Data from your Event

Besides the several stock reports in the Event Reporting menu, the Event module has several options for exporting data to excel so that you can analyze and manipulate the data. Each of the options lives in the Select Actions drop-down menu that exists on the appropriate screen in the Event module.

The following data sets are available for export:

  • Registration Data
  • Attendee Data
  • Promo Code Usage

Exporting Registration Data

  • Export Registrations -Exports all Registration data, with each registration representing one row of data. Individual Attendee names are not included. Attendee counts are included.
  • Export Registrations with Custom Field - Exports all Registration data, with each registration representing one row of data and including Custom Field data as columns on the end of each row.. Individual Attendee names are not included. Attendee counts are included.

Follow these steps to export an Registration Data Report:

  1. Select the Export Option you want to use.
  2. Click the Go button
  3. Check the Download area of your internet Browser for your downloaded file (if it did not open automatically)

Exporting Attendee Data

  • Export All Attendees- Exports all Attendee data, with each each Attendee representing a row on the resulting spreadsheet. If available, the Organization name connected to the Individual is also included.
  • Export All Attendees with Custom Field Data - Exports all Attendee data, with each each Attendee representing a row on the resulting spreadsheet and Custom Data as columns. If available, the Organization name connected to the Individual is also included.

Follow these steps to export an Attendee Data Report:

  1. Select the Export Option you want to use.
  2. Click the Go button
  3. Check the Download area of your internet Browser for your downloaded file (if it did not open automatically)

Exporting Promo Code Data

Promo Code Usage can be exported in two ways:

  • As an export that includes all Promo Code usage, with each promo code representing one row in the Excel file
  • As an export of one individual Promo Code usage

Follow these steps to export a Promo Code Usage Report:

  1. Select the Export Option you want to use.
  2. Check the Download area of your internet Browser for your downloaded file (if it did not open automatically)
